It’s no secret that James and I are little cookie monsters. Chocolate chip being our favorite. I have been trying to master the chocolate chip cookie with the right fluffiness and sweet goodness for a long time. Then this weekend, it happened. I mastered it! And since I am not one to keep my recipes a secret here it is…
3 2/3 Cups Flour (minus 2 tablespoons)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
The chocolate chip amount is up to you but I did about 7 hand fulls.
Don’t separate the dry ingredients like they suggest you do. Put everything into the bowl in the order I listed it and mix it as you go. It’s the best way, trust me! Heat your oven to 375 and bake for about 11-12 minutes. And then you will have the world’s best chocolate chip cookies! Let me know if you try it!
