I haven’t blogged in a while because a lot has been going on for me lately. Here is my update…
Today I received in the mail my custom made buttons. I LOVE buttons so much and I designed all my dresses to have them so naturally I needed buttons. My button vendor is great and custom makes my buttons the sizes I want and out of my actual material for the dresses so that it matches perfectly! Buttons always bring a smile to my face. Weird? Maybe.
Everything is moving along nicely for Taylor Morgan and I am getting really excited and nervous for my dresses to get sent to me from Los Angeles. For those who don’t know, my samples for the store are being made in Los Angeles just for this first time. A good friend of mine, Daniel, from design school still lives in LA and is helping me with my samples. I am so grateful for Daniel and all he has done to help me. I have said it before but he is amazing. So talented it’s crazy! Thanks Dannie for everything!
please ignore how tired and unattractive this photo is, it was taken at the California Market Center after a weekend of working all nighters!
Some very exciting news is I am getting ready for my launch party of Taylor Morgan at Serendipity Bridal where the gowns will be sold in Austin. I am so thrilled and honored to have Taylor Morgan become apart of Serendipity. To have Taylor Morgan being sold among some of my favorite designers such as Melissa Sweet, Vera Wang, Lazaro, Amsale and many other great designers truly is a dream. The launch party is being presented by Caplan Miller Events which I am also looking forward to! I would like to make it out to the west coast and have a launch party there as well for all my family and friends to attend. I will keep everyone posted!
And in other news out side of Taylor Morgan, I have been teaching dance a lot lately. Once a dancer always a dancer. I am happy to be working with such talented and hard working dancers. I am teaching students from 3 to 17 years old. Here is a picture I took the other day of two cuties in my little kid combo class. Adorable!
That’s about it for now! Photo shoot got pushed back a lot due to fabric shipping delays and will be happening soon. Once that happens I can share everything with all of you! I am so looking forward to it. Thanks for letting me share my dream with all of you. I appreciate your interest and support.
Happy weekend everyone!
