The rest of my trip to LA was a success! I have to say this felt like my most productive trip yet! All the little pieces are coming together and it feels like such a relief. I am not done yet, still have a lot of things to do, but I am almost there! I just want to thank God for everything he has done and does for me to help make Taylor Morgan possible. I truly couldn’t do it without him. Below are some pictures from my trip. I didn’t take very many, I get so busy that I forget to. And some that I took I can’t post cause they show the dresses 😉
You know traffic is bad when you have time to take out your camera and take a picture. LA traffic I do not miss you! How did I ever live in this daily? It’s nice not having to plan to leave 2-3 hours EXTRA early just for traffic!
I took this picture after I visited my grader. Graders are amazing. I love technology! We make all of my patterns in sample size 10 (european) but we also need all those patterns in size 2,4,6,8,12,14,16,18,20,22, and 24! It would take a LONG time to grade all those patterns in all those sizes by hand (which is what pattern makers use to have to do). Today however, there are amazing machines that will grade all your patterns for you and print them out. Beautiful! Saving time and money!
Last but not least on my way home I had a lay over in my home town of Phoenix, AZ and my Dad came by and hung out with me. It was a nice surprise and even though our food was horrible we had fun. Love you Daddy-O!
Such a great trip. I even got to enjoy a little down time here and there. I also got to stay with my in-laws this time which was nice. Thank you mom and dad Hartley for everything! I love you guys! Dannie, thank you for everything. You are the best. Dannie and I always have fun working together and listening to A LOT of Lady Gaga while we do! I also got him hooked on Glee! Now while Dannie finishes the samples, back in Austin we are working on my first bride Amanda’s dress. Can’t wait to see her in it! Have a great day everyone!
