Factor in your alteration cost into your total wedding dress budget.

Wedding dresses are special ordered. Meaning once you find the one you like in the store you order your size from the designer. Just because they are ordered does not mean they are custom to your exact measurements. 99% of brides have to have at least some alterations to make their gown fit them properly once it arrives from the designer. So, be sure to keep alteration cost in mind when figuring out your wedding gown budget. It’s hard to quote you on an alteration cost because everyone and every dress is different but plan for more rather than less.

Happy shopping!
